With the hour change, the dark evenings are well and truly upon us. With daylight scant from about 4pm onwards, the vast majority of people commuting by bike will have to make sure they can be seen. And that means that bicycle lights are an absolute must.

But luckily for Dublin cyclists, you might not have to put your hands in your pockets to invest as the Dublin Cycling Campaign are giving away FREE bike lights!
If you want to avail of a free set of bike lights, the Dublin Cycling Campaign will be giving them away on the following days in the following locations:
- Tues 31st Oct – Grand Canal Dock-Pearse St, 5-6.30pm
- Weds 1st Nov – The Five Lamps, 5-6.30pm
- Thurs 2nd Nov – Portobello Bridge-Rathmines Rd, 5-6.30pm
Dublin Cycling Campaign is also seeking volunteers who may have some time to spend to help distribute the free lights.
