There’s a new hostel opening in Delphi in March 2018 and it’s set to be a bit of a game changer for budget holidaymakers heading to the West.
The Wild Atlantic Hostel will open its doors on 1 March and is part of the ever-expanding Delphi Resort family. The new addition will replace the old hostel on the grounds of the 300-acre resort and we think it’s the perfect place to base yourself to explore the surrounding wilds of Connemara.
It has already been tipped as one of ‘20 of Europe’s best new hotels and hostels for 2018,′ by The Guardian. It will accommodate everyone from the lone broke backpacker to the family on a budget. The contemporary building will sleep up to 220 people in dorm-style ensuite rooms with state-of-the-art beds, individual locker facilities and charging points.
The facilities are ideal for the avid explorer that wants to get out and about in the elements by day to hike, bike, and surf. And then return at night laden down with muck, gear and a grin on their face. The new hostel is complete with a drying room for wet hiking boots and outdoor apparel, a baggage storage room, laundry facilities, mountain bike hire and tour/activity booking service, and of course access to all the delights Delphi offers (Adventure Centre, Delphi Spa, restaurant and bar).
Prices for a bed starts at €19. Right now they are offering a two night stay in a shared dorm room in the Wild Atlantic Hostel plus one full day of adventure activities in Delphi Resort from €99pps.
