One of Northern Ireland’s premium tourist attractions is all ready for the summer season ahead. Make sure to put this gem of a place on your Irish bucket list this season.

The 2km (1.2 miles) cliff walk known as the Gobbins can be found on the incredible Causeway Coastal Route. A route which was voted the number one region in the world to visit in 2018 by Lonely Planet.

Gobbins Cliff Path

Wander along dramatic basalt cliffs, across amazing bridges, access tunnels and through narrow pathways in an intimate adventure along the spectacular coastline. The coastal path, cliff path and viewing platform are all open to the public. On the guided walk you will hear about the geology and biodiversity of the area as well as the history attached to the location. Make sure to have your cameras ready for the expansive views along the suspension bridge.

Spend a day there exploring the visitor centre, ‘The Gobbins Café’, the gift shop, outdoor children’s play and picnic area or spend a whole weekend exploring all the sites along the Causeway Coastal route.

Online booking is now open for public tours with tour slots available every half hour. For more information on the Gobbins and the Causeway Coastal Route check out the website.
