John West and Gaelforce have teamed up to bring you an awesome mini-series of videos about training and nutrition. You should definitely consider implementing some of the advice into your routine in the lead up to your adventure race.
The 14 short videos feature advice from former Outsider Award nominee Shane Finn, who last summer ran 24 marathons in 24 days. His next project is a race across America in 2019 that challenges him to cycle 250km a day for 3 days and then run 50km a day for 3 days. Shane is also a qualified personal trainer and co-owns his own gym WK Fitness in Dingle, Co Kerry. In these videos, Shane runs through a series of strength and conditioning exercises and top training tips in the countdown to race day.
