For all you fitness lovers out there (and the aspiring ones too) here’s some good news: a new fitness and crossfit retreat is opening in beautiful Donegal this summer!
Wild Atlantic Fitness offers fitness retreats and crossfit holidays along the Wild Atlantic Way in Donegal, with a special focus on health and wellbeing.
The new Donegal retreat providers are based mainly around the Dunfanaghy and Portnablagh area and will open their doors for the first time this June.
You can choose between a one-day, a three-day or a seven-day retreat and they also have a weekend jazz and blues festival coming up in September.
The retreats are all-inclusive with luxurious accommodation and healthy, calorie-controlled meals throughout the stay. On top of that, all the food is prepared in line with individual dietary requirements.
Killarney Walking Festival to Take Place this June
Aside from the fitness and crossfit classes you can also expect yoga classes, SUPing, surfing and hiking. The main trainer for the retreats is Ruairi Crealey, a qualified sports scientist and experienced athletic coach. Ruairi is one of two founders, the other one is his wife Caoimhe.
The retreats are run from one of three different sites: a luxury guesthouse in Portnablagh, the lovely Arnold’s Hotel in Dunfanaghy or the beautiful Sheephaven Bay located Shandon Hotel & Spa.
Wild Atlantic Fitness is the place for you if you’re up for loads of fun activities in beautiful surroundings while at the same time getting fitter together with a group of like-minded people – who are all there to experience all areas of health and wellbeing.
