Great news for all you Mayo ramblers, the free summer 2018 bus service in Ballycroy National Park is now up and running.
The service runs between Bangor Erris and Westport with eight stops en route. It encompasses popular walks in the area such as Wild Nephin/Letterkeen, the Claggan Mountain Coastal Trail and the Visitor Centre. The service will run daily from now until 31 August 2018 and will be a godsend for locals and tourists alike. They’ll even take your bikes on board (but no dogs).
Please note: The Westport stop requires 24hrs advanced booking, even if just one person is travelling and groups of 5+ people must book in advance (24hours) for any of the stops. The booking phone number is 087-0694340. For any further queries, call the visitor centre on 098-49888.
