Thousands of vital equipment was stolen from Sligo Leitrim Mountain Rescue Team base on Friday last and the place was ransacked. The mountain rescue team has since been relying on neighbouring teams for support.
GARDAI TO THE RESCUE: Congratulations to Sligo gardai whom recovered vital equipment which had been stolen from the Sligo Leitrim Mountain Rescue Team. How any person or persons could have stolen such equipment beggars belief. Once again, the Frontline have saved the day for all. pic.twitter.com/itbzfl9F1Q — GRA (@gardarep) April 6, 2018
