Glencullen Adventure Park will open its doors this week offering a host of new trails and an uplift service.

The long awaited Glencullen Adventure Park will open its doors this week to welcome the hoards of hungry mountain bikers to its freshly cut trails.

The GAP has created a mountain biking haven overlooking Dublin Bay and the Sugarloaf, with easy to manoeuvre paths for the novice to technically challenging terrain and steep descents for the pros to cut their teeth on. It is a gravity progressive bike park, with six grades (Green to Pro) to suit all abilities and has 12 trails to choose from.

There are day ride passes from €5 and day ride passes with one-day uplift from €45. The Park is open from nine to five Wednesday to Sunday. There will be car parking, a place to hire bikes – stocked with the latest Nukeproof bike range and uplift all in place and a café to follow along soon.

It’s also the venue for this years ‘Run the Line’, running both 13k and 26k courses’. They held a soft launch on Saturday the 22nd and the positive reviews are flooding in. This stunning new playground for mountain bikers and hikers is just 15 minutes away from Dublin and waiting for you to take it on.Glencullen Adventure Park officially opens to the public this Thursday, the 27 July at 9am.
