Irish victory in the European U-21 Laser Radial Championship
Aoife Hopkins is tearing things up on the sailing circuit with her latest victory in Dournanez, France, making her the new European Ladies Under 21 Radial Champion. In a fantastic performance, the rising star won 7 out of 10 of her races.
The 18-year-old from Howth Yacht Club is Olympic Silver medalist Annalise Murphy’s training partner and trains under the renowned coach Rory Fitzpatrick.

She took the Ladies National title just three weeks ago, after finishing up her Leaving Certificate.
Her teammate Aisling Keller, from Nenagh took second place.
