No products in the basket.

I have reviewed my fair share of camping kit in my time and I have to say I am in constant awe of the ingenuity of some of the products I have come across. Figuring that there was little left out there to impress me, I was recently proven wrong. The Therm-A-Rest Treo chair is now my absolute favourite piece of camping kit of all time, and believe me, I do not say this lightly.
Let’s start with the size. It is tiny. No bigger than a litre of milk. In fact, it is so compact that I actually struggled to comprehend how there was a full-size camping chair that I could actually sit on tucked away inside. Granted spatial awareness has never been my forte.
Next up is the assembly. Again, not one of my strong points. Even the simplest IKEA flat-packs have defeated me. Thankfully I didn’t even need to look at the instructions, it is completely self-explanatory. Four poles, four holes, four spaces in the canvas… it is as simple as a join-the-dots.
And last but not least… comfort. Yes, this chair is really really comfortable to sit in. Yes, it is closer to the ground than your average chair but that is actually very handy when you consider that your camping stove is usually based on the ground, as is your glass of wine!!
All in all, I am really impressed with the Therm-A-Rest Treo Chair. It is nifty, compact, comfy and well built. I don’t think there’ll be many places I’ll go without it.
