Just when we think that Eoin Keith can’t push the bar any higher, he goes and takes on something that makes our jaws drop. In the past year alone he has broken the Irish 24-hour running record, the Malin to Mizen record and most recently tried his hand at the infamous Barkley Marathons. Known as the toughest race on earth, only 15 people have managed to compete it since its inception back in the 1980s.

In the first episode of our new podcast, Hard as Nails, Kevin chats to Eoin about how the hell you go from playing pitch and putt to running the toughest races in the world. We also look at how Eoin balances training, work and his marriage. He tells us all about his endless hours of running and how he has trained his body not to need to fuel on multi-day races.

Enjoy!
