Aishling Clifford: @aish_a_ling

“My content is a whirlwind of showcasing the breathtaking beauty of Ireland and beyond, all while swimming in chilly waters all over the country and hiking as much as possible. I’m on a mission to uncover hidden gems, spread positivity and motivate others to embark on their own adventures, whether it’s in their hometown or further afield.”

Daniel O’Farrell: @danofazz

“In my content, I share the highs and lows of balancing a bustling life with my passion for outdoor adventures, running, and community building. I hope to bring a sense of joy, inspiration, and connection to my audience, encouraging them to find their own balance and adventure in their everyday lives.”

Emma O’Hagan: @emmas_footprints

“My goal for my Instagram page was to inspire people to get outdoors, meet like-minded people and join my free/charity adventure group meetups that I organise where we go hiking/swimming/camping together each month. I also am an advocate for minimalistic living and I have been documenting my off-grid tiny home build online and encouraging people to embrace the indoor/outdoor lifestyle. Overall, my ultimate goal is to promote positive mental health through the outdoors.”

Chris Connolly: @explorewithcriostoir

“I aim to bring Ireland to life for everyone – from avid outdoor enthusiasts to those seeking a leisurely stroll in the countryside. Through my content, I unveil both hidden gems and popular spots, inspiring people to embrace the beauty of our island and embark on their own exploration.”

Dan Regan & Emily Campbell: @greatblasketcaretakers

“I suppose we just started the page to try and share our lives on Great Blasket Island and to give people a taste of the everyday beauty of the island plus the rich Irish heritage and incredible nature. We made the page because we wanted to share a slice of the simplicity with anyone who had an interest in it, A little bit of escapism and fun to break up the feed.”

Harry McNulty: @saltynuts_

“My goal when travelling and creating is to showcase what the world has to offer and inspire others to try new experiences. Getting out of the comfort zone is where all the fun happens and it’s the best way to develop into a better person. Live is short and the world is big, may as well try something new and make the most of it!”

Joshua Nueva: @joshuanueva

“I try to show Ireland’s beauty how I see it with its incredible landscapes and magical wildlife, but also bringing this beauty to not only a domestic level by changing how Irish people view it, but also to an international level by showcasing that there’s so much more to our little island.”

Liana Modonova: @lemonlimod

“What I love about being outdoors is the opportunity to be part of a community of people with common interests in exploring this beautiful country and beyond and creating meaningful connections and lifelong friends along the way. By sharing my photography and videography on my page, I love to inspire people to get out outside, no matter the weather. You don’t need to be able to climb the highest mountain to become an outdoorsy person or hiker. You just need to enjoy what you are doing, and you can build it from there.”

Gareth Laheen: @life.of.gerk

“My Irish content is all about showing the beauty of our land and our deep connection to it. I try to encourage spending as much time out in the land as possible because Nature is healing for all aspects of life. Physical, spiritual, emotional and mental.”

Marius Monaghan: @mariusmonaghan

“Whether it’s kayaking, free diving, hiking, caving or climbing I’m always on the hunt for the next interesting little spot to explore. Starting out by hitting up some of Ireland’s most famous road trip spots to now challenging myself to reach some of Ireland’s most inaccessible places, my outdoor journey is just getting started.”

Sarah Kim Watchorn: @heyfromsk

“I guess all I’m doing is what brings me a feeling of pure happiness and joy, and it seems to bring the same to people who follow me too. I think a lot of people don’t know just how magical Ireland is, so I guess I just love to show off how much marine life is around our beautiful little island.”

Stephen Reid: @stephenjreid

“I make content about outdoor adventures in a way that I hope is fun, relatable and inspirational for everyday people. Life is tough and the outdoors offers a perfect way to de-stress, make friendships or just challenge ourselves. I started going outdoors more and running and hiking to clear my head from my job as a commercial filmmaker. Also because I eat too much cheese. I don’t like being limited to one type of adventure and I’m a collector of hobbies so I explore by foot, by bike or by paddle. Hopefully I don’t take up flying next!”

Tadhg O’Brien: @tadhg_obrien

“I started creating videos just to document my life. To have something to look back on with a smile on my face, and as memories for others to have. I create videos of adventures that I love going on, and I go on adventures to create videos that I love bringing to life. From the beginning, it wasn’t about creating for anyone else, it was always just for the love of it. Hearing how much inspiration, motivation, and peace people get from watching what I create is so surreal to me, and something I never could have imagined come from what I do. It’s all just about my own experiences, and perspectives. Everyone has a different experience of life, so just live yours. I’m incredibly grateful for people’s support and this journey that I’m on.”

Kevin Dooher: @thewildatlantictraveller

“I started this page to showcase what we have along The Wild Atlantic Way and to also help with my mental health struggles. I want people to feel they can enjoy my travels and feel they can contact me for any information as well as experience my free group hikes which I currently organise up Errigal, Donegal’s tallest peak for sunrise and sunset. I try to encourage as many people to get outside and enjoy the great benefits that our beautiful country has to offer.”

Tony Smith: @tonytravels10_

“I try to make this space as informative and transparent as possible about my travels and life in general, I would love for my followers to feel comfortable to engage with me whether that be about travel or life in general, I want to be able to help people and for my page to have real purpose.”

Kevin Penrose: @wildirishwanderer

“I use the outdoors as a form of therapy you could say. It allows me to be curious and explore what our country has to offer and through various outlets such as hiking and sea swimming and there really is no other feeling that compares. I create engaging content about my adventures and give my followers a first-hand insight into my experience whether it be a sunrise hike on Mount Errigal in Donegal, a unique getaway or a sea swim at Vico Baths in Dublin, I hope that they feel inspired to do the same and feel better for it afterwards.”
