If you’re searching for the perfect way to relax, recharge, and reconnect with nature this spring, look no further. The Wander Wild Festival, taking place from April 4–6 (mark your calendars!), offers the ultimate getaway for those who want to really get away from it all!

In an exciting move, this year the Wellness Hub has a new home, in Killarney House and Gardens. This new location, right in the National Park, is the perfect environment for the range of wellness activities on offer. With views of the formal gardens you’ll be naturally winding down before you even hit the mat!

Having experienced the festival twice before, we’re excited to help you design the ultimate chilled itinerary for the weekend

1. Fiery Flow Yoga

Prepare your body for the Wander Wild Festival with an energizing Fiery Flow yoga session—the perfect class to enhance flexibility and get you ready to explore the stunning mountains of Killarney. This invigorating practice is the ideal way to loosen up your body and mind, setting the tone for an adventurous weekend ahead.

This empowering practice will inspire you to challenge yourself, harness your inner strength, and step off the mat feeling refreshed and ready to conquer the outdoors!

With the expanded Wellness Hub at Wander Wild this year, you’ll have countless amazing practices to choose from.

2. Wim Hof Breathwork Workshop

One of the standout experiences from our past Wander Wild adventures was the Wim Hof Method Workshop. Led by breathing specialist and certified Wim Hof instructor Leo Daniel, this transformative four-hour workshop dives deep into the science and practice behind the Wim Hof Method.

Leo begins by introducing the theory behind the method before guiding participants through a powerful Breathwork practice. This was an incredibly moving experience—one we highly recommend to anyone seeking a deeper connection to their mind and body.

After mastering the breathwork technique, we headed to the serene Muckross Lake to experience the second pillar of the Wim Hof Method: cold exposure. Although I occasionally enjoy a cold dip, I was genuinely nervous about this part of the workshop. However, Leo’s calm and reassuring guidance made all the difference. Not only did I stay in the water longer than expected, but I also managed the cold with surprising ease.

The Wim Hof Breathwork Workshop is a bucket-list experience at Wander Wild 2025—if you can secure a ticket! This highly sought-after event sells out every year, and for good reason

3. Mindfulness Hike

Round off your wellness itinerary at Wander Wild 2025 with a Mindfulness Hike guided by qualified mindfulness coach Rachel O’Sullivan. After a busy weekend of adventure, wind down, recentre, and reconnect with your senses at this family-friendly hike around Tomies Woods.

As somebody who sometimes struggles at times to sit still and is always chasing the next task or objective, a mindfulness hike is a simple and beautiful way to reconnect with your love for the outdoors. Last year we left this event with a profound feeling of appreciation and love for ourselves and for the incredible place in which we live. It’s the perfect way to round off a beautiful weekend in Killarney at Wander Wild.
