1. Embodiment of Irish Traditional Song
One of the most culturally engaging experiences at this year’s Wander Wild Festival is the interactive performance and workshop exploring Ireland’s deep-rooted ancestral memory through song and sound. Led by an expert guide, this immersive session dives into the profound cultural legacy stored within our bodies and songlines.
The workshop begins with an introduction to the rich history of Irish songs, born from a place of both deep oppression and profound joy. This fascinating exploration reveals how these melodies still resonate powerfully in modern Ireland. With a mix of storytelling and hands-on practice, you’ll uncover how connecting with our collective cultural memory through song can unlock layers of connection and healing in your life.
The session also incorporates a unique blend of the Irish language and techniques from the yoga tradition. Participants will learn to tune into how sound moves through their chakra system, creating a deeply moving and transformative experience.
Whether you’re reconnecting with your roots or simply seeking a space for expression and learning, this workshop offers something truly special. Be prepared to be educated, inspired, and guided into singing from the depths of your heart and body. This is one experience you won’t want to miss!
2. Seanchoíche Storytelling Night

We are very excited about the Seanchoíche Storytelling event at Wander Wild this year. Seanchoíche is a renowned storytelling platform that hosts events both nationally and internationally, and its Wander Wild edition promises to be unforgettable.
At this event, you can expect an eclectic mix of storytelling, from personal anecdotes and monologues to fictional narratives and everything in between. The atmosphere Seanchoíche creates is truly magical—authentic, raw, and deeply engaging. It’s an experience that stays with you, and for many, it’s a highlight of the festival.
Every year we’ve attended Wander Wild, the day after Seanchoíche is always filled with lively conversations about the stories shared the night before. It’s a unique and enriching experience you won’t want to miss. Make sure to add it to your itinerary!
3. Cow To Cone
A brand-new addition to Wander Wild this year is the Cow to Cone tour, offering a unique behind-the-scenes look at Flemings Dairy Farm. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Torc and Mangerton mountains, this immersive experience takes you through Muckross Creamery, a family-run business led by fifth-generation dairy farmer John Fleming and his family.
The tour culminates in the charming 200-year-old farmhouse, where you’ll be treated to a tasting of their artisanal ice cream—a perfect, indulgent way to wrap up your Wander Wild 2025 adventure.
4. Moncreiff Concert at St Mary’s Church
Finish your night at Wander Wild at the newly announced Moncreiff concert in St Mary’s Church in the heart of town. Moncreiff is an award-winning music artist that is known for his heartfelt songwriting and acclaimed live performances. This rising star of Irish pop music is going to have a huge 2025 after a busy 2024 including a sold-out show at the Olympia Theatre in Dublin in May. Dance the night away!
