The Guides

The guides for these hikes are Jenny Copeland and Louise Lawrence. Between them, they have decades of experience in the outdoors. They have climbed Mount Everest, Mount Kenya and Kilimanjaro. They are both qualified mountain leaders and have a host of other qualifications to their names including Remote First Aid, Orienteering Coach and Rock Climbing Instructor.

This is not your average social hike, experienced guides will give useful tips regarding navigation, first aid as well as reading nature’s queues. The August Hike Series aims to impart a sense of confidence in all attendees and the confidence to explore the Irish outdoors.
