Getting kids out into nature isn’t always smooth, but it’s almost always worth it. On Saturday, May 24th, Patagonia Dublin invites you to embrace the chaos and joy of outdoor family life with a kid-friendly hike in Glendalough, followed by a special screening of “Parenting: Disaster Style”, a new film series about parenting, adventure, and finding connection in the wild in the Patagonia Dublin store.
Parenting: Disaster Style
“Parenting: Disaster Style” follows climber Zoe Hart and her family as they embrace backcountry skiing, alpine life, and the unpredictable journey of raising children in the mountains. Shot across the stunning backdrops of the Italian and French mountains, where her family call home, the series is a candid look at the highs and lows of outdoor parenting, where discomfort, dirt, and joy go hand in hand.
If you’ve ever wondered how to balance adventure with family life, or if you simply want to experience a family’s journey through the wilderness, this film is for you. Zoe, an International Federation of Mountain Guides Associations (IFMGA) certified mountain guide, and her husband Max have made their home in the mountains, and now, they’re sharing their parenting journey with the world.
