Under the direction of Ivan Parke and Eoghan Carton, the race became part of the European Adventure Race Series and served as the European Championship race in 2015. The Beast continued to grow in popularity, with events held in Donegal and Northern Ireland in 2017 and 2018.
The Beast holds a special place in the hearts of adventure racers in Ireland, introducing many to expedition-length adventure racing, fostering epic adventures, and creating lasting friendships.
