Highlights include; the town of Killaloe, Moylussa mountain, Tountinna Hill, The quaint lakeside town of Garrykennedy, and of course kayaking on Lough Derg under the slopes of the surrounding hills. We were particularly impressed by the diversity of this adventure race route. It has everything from steep climbs to speedy descents and smooth tarmac to country lanes.

Recently we headed to Lough Derg to take on the Expert route for Quest Lough Derg 2024. The route was challenging, and fun and took in some of the most stunning views of the area. We rode our bikes along the stunning lakeshore roads, ran up the epic Moylussa mountain, and kayaked on the stunning Lough Derg. This event is one to put on your calendar.
